Eligibility
Eligible applicants are New Mexico residents with disabilities who are determined eligible for vocational rehabilitation services and whose individualized employment plan supports self-employment or business ownership as a viable employment goal.
Requirements
- Apply for and be found eligible for New Mexico DVR vocational rehabilitation services
- Work with a DVR counselor to determine whether self-employment is an appropriate employment outcome
- Develop a business plan, market analysis, financial plan, and disability-related support needs
