About this program
The CanStartup Loan Program provides loan capital through nonprofit lenders to new Minnesota cannabis microbusinesses operating in the legal cannabis industry, with priority for social equity applicants.
Eligibility
New Minnesota-based cannabis microbusinesses in existence three years or less, with priority for businesses owned by individuals eligible as social equity applicants.
Requirements
- Apply through an approved nonprofit lender
- Hold or pursue qualifying cannabis microbusiness licensure
- Provide business, ownership, license, financial, and use-of-funds documentation
