About this program
The Community Solar Energy Program enables community solar projects that provide access to solar energy for subscribers, with requirements and incentives that support project development and customer savings. Deadline notes: Application and project timelines are published by NJBPU. Notes: Identity tags should reflect projects serving low- and moderate-income or overburdened communities where supported.
Eligibility
Eligible community solar developers, project owners, subscriber organizations, and host sites meeting New Jersey program requirements.
Requirements
- Submit project application with site details, capacity, interconnection, subscriber plan, low- and moderate-income participation approach, ownership details, and required certifications.
