Empire State Development’s Division of Small Business and Technology Development connects New York small businesses with state and federal programs, technical assistance, financing resources, workforce training, and resources for entrepreneurs and immigrant business owners.
Eligibility
Small businesses, entrepreneurs, and eligible growth companies operating or planning to operate in New York State, including Albany.
Requirements
- Identify program fit through ESD small business resources
- Provide business plan, eligibility documentation, project budget, and financing needs as required by specific program
- Comply with program-specific reporting, job, investment, or use-of-funds rules
