About this program
The NC Rural Center Capital Access Program uses SSBCI funds to create loan loss reserves at participating lenders, helping banks, credit unions, and CDFIs make small business loans that might otherwise be too risky.
Eligibility
North Carolina businesses with fewer than 500 employees applying through participating lenders for eligible loans.
Requirements
- Work with a participating lender enrolled in the Capital Access Program
- Meet lender underwriting and SSBCI eligibility rules
- Use loan proceeds for eligible business purposes and provide required documentation
