About this program
The My Career Advancement Account Scholarship is a Department of Defense workforce development program that provides eligible military spouses with financial assistance for licenses, certifications, associate degrees, and continuing education needed for portable employment. Deadline notes: Applications are generally accepted through the MyCAA portal subject to eligibility and approved education plans. Notes: National DoD program clearly open to eligible New Jersey military spouses.
Eligibility
Eligible spouses of active-duty, activated National Guard, activated Reserve, or other qualifying service members in covered pay grades under current MyCAA rules.
Requirements
- Create a MyCAA account, work with a SECO career coach if required, submit an approved education and training plan, and use an approved school or program.
