About this program
North Carolina’s Building Reuse Program supports demolition, reuse, renovation, or expansion of existing buildings for eligible projects. Funds help local governments support company projects that create jobs and investment through building improvements.
Eligibility
Local governments applying on behalf of eligible businesses with qualifying building reuse, expansion, or renovation projects that create jobs.
Requirements
- Apply through an eligible local government sponsor
- Document building scope, project budget, job creation, and company commitment
- Provide required match, grant agreement, compliance, and performance reporting
