About this program
The MnDOT Civil Rights Micro Grant helps Minnesota-based certified small businesses increase business capacity and compete more effectively on MnDOT contracts by reimbursing preapproved eligible expenses.
Eligibility
Minnesota-based certified small businesses that are certified DBE or certified as TGB, ED, or veteran-owned and have bid or proposed on a MnDOT project in the last two state fiscal years.
Requirements
- Meet MnDOT certification and recent bidding requirements
- Submit application under the RFP and receive preapproval for expenses
- Provide reimbursement documentation for eligible business capacity expenses
