About this program
The Downtown Development Authority uses tax increment investment tools to partner on eligible downtown redevelopment, public improvements, placemaking, infrastructure, and catalytic projects that align with the DDA plan.
Eligibility
Property owners, developers, businesses, and project sponsors with eligible projects within the Fort Collins DDA district.
Requirements
- Engage DDA staff early in project planning
- Provide project scope, public benefit, budget, financing gap, schedule, and legal documentation
- Receive DDA approval and complete development agreement, compliance, and reimbursement steps
