Maryland Commission on Indian Affairs – Tribal Business Resource Navigation
The Maryland Commission on Indian Affairs (MCIA) is the official statewide agency for Native Americans and serves as a resource and referral point for Maryland's ~40,000 American Indian and part-American Indian residents; connects tribal members and urban Native Americans to state and federal programs; Governor Moore held a historic State House Tribal Consultation in 2023; MCIA serves the Piscataway Indian Nation, Piscataway Conoy Tribe, and Accohannock Indian Tribe as well as urban Native populations concentrated in the Baltimore/DC area.

Eligibility
Maryland Native Americans and American Indians, including members of Maryland's three state-recognized tribes (Piscataway Indian Nation, Piscataway Conoy Tribe, and Accohannock Indian Tribe) and urban Native Americans in the Baltimore/DC metro area.
