About this program
OKBioStart is a concept-focused biotechnology accelerator serving the 10-county Oklahoma City region. Its Concept Program evaluates life science innovations for commercial viability and delivers a project plan for next steps in commercialization. The most commercially viable concepts may move into the Launch Program, which provides non-dilutive funding and a launch program manager to implement commercial plans over 12 months.
Eligibility
Life science researchers, entrepreneurs, startups, and innovators in the Oklahoma City 10-county region may apply to the Concept Program if they are pursuing commercialization of a biotech or life science innovation.
Requirements
- Applicant must have a life science or biotechnology concept with potential commercial viability.
- Applicant must be located in or serve the Oklahoma City 10-county region.
- Applicant must submit the OKBioStart Concept Program RFP application materials by the applicable due date.
