About this program
The SBA Veterans Advantage program reduces or waives upfront guaranty fees for veteran-owned businesses on SBA 7(a) loans up to $5 million and SBA Express loans up to $500,000. Eligible borrowers include veterans, service-disabled veterans, active duty service members participating in the Transition Assistance Program (TAP), National Guard/Reservist members, and spouses of any of these (including surviving spouses). To qualify, veterans must own at least 51% of the business. Loans can be used for working capital, equipment, real estate, inventory, debt refinancing, and business acquisition.
Eligibility
Veteran, service-disabled veteran, active duty member in TAP, National Guard/Reservist, or current/surviving spouse of any of these; at least 51% ownership of a for-profit small business meeting SBA size standards; ability to repay.
Requirements
