Eligibility
Eligible Rhode Island families and caregivers may use the program to finance home adaptations, including ramps, bathroom modifications, lifts, and related accessibility improvements for aging or special-needs household members.
Requirements
- Applicant must need qualifying accessibility or safety modifications to a Rhode Island residence.
- Loan proceeds must be used for approved home adaptations such as ramps, bathroom modifications, lifts, or equipment purchases.
- Applicant must complete RIHousing underwriting and loan closing requirements.
