Montana SBIR/STTR Matching Funds Program
Montana provides matching grants to technology companies that have received federal SBIR or STTR awards.
About this program
The Montana SBIR/STTR Matching Funds Program assists technology-based Montana companies by providing additional funding during federal Small Business Innovation Research or Small Business Technology Transfer projects. Grants of up to $30,000 per phase are available on a yearly basis and may be used to help complete the SBIR/STTR project or develop the related product or service. Applications may be submitted at any time and awards are made at the discretion of the Montana Department of Commerce.
Eligibility
Technology-based Montana companies that have received a federal SBIR or STTR Phase I or Phase II award and meet the state program guidelines.
Requirements
- Company must be based in Montana.
- Company must have received a federal SBIR or STTR award.
- Funds must be used to complete the SBIR/STTR project or develop a related product or service.
