Rural Economic Development Tax Increment Financing is a Utah post-performance tax credit for companies that create high-paying jobs and generate new state revenue in rural communities. The program is similar to EDTIF but tailored to rural economic development projects. Approved companies receive credits only after meeting performance obligations such as job creation, wage, and tax revenue requirements.
