About this program
The Wavemaker Fellowship provides refundable tax credits to eligible graduates working in Rhode Island in STEM and design fields. Cranston employers can use the program as a talent attraction and retention tool for eligible employees.
Eligibility
Eligible employees working in Rhode Island in qualifying STEM or design occupations with qualifying student loan debt.
Requirements
- Employee applies during an open Wavemaker Fellowship round
- Provide employment, residency, student loan, and degree documentation
- Meet annual certification and tax credit claiming requirements
