Alaska State Small Business Credit Initiative (SSBCI)
Alaska's SSBCI program (approximately $59 million total allocation) provides loans, loan guarantees, and equity investments to Alaska small businesses including construction contractors, with priority access for socially and economically disadvantaged business owners.

Eligibility
Alaska small businesses with 500 or fewer employees. Eligible uses include working capital, equipment, construction, and business expansion. Priority given to SEDI (socially and economically disadvantaged) businesses and very small businesses with fewer than 10 employees.
Requirements
- Must be an Alaska small business with 500 or fewer employees
- Must demonstrate credit need (shortfall in cash flow, credit history, or collateral)
- Must apply through a participating lender or the Alaska SBDC
