About this program
ACCES-VR assists New Yorkers with disabilities to achieve and maintain employment through vocational counseling, assessments, training, education support, job placement, assistive technology, and rehabilitation services.
Eligibility
New Yorkers with a physical, mental, or emotional disability that interferes with employment and who require vocational rehabilitation services to prepare for, obtain, keep, or advance in employment.
Requirements
- Applicants must submit an ACCES-VR application, provide disability documentation or participate in eligibility assessment, identify employment goals, and work with a counselor on an Individualized Plan for Employment if eligible.
