USVI SSBCI Collateral Support Program
Collateral support for small-business loans that otherwise lack sufficient collateral.
About this program
The USVI SSBCI Collateral Support Program helps enable financing that may otherwise be unavailable because of a collateral shortfall, supporting access to capital for eligible small businesses in the territory.
Eligibility
Eligible U.S. Virgin Islands small businesses applying for loans through participating lenders where collateral support is needed.
Requirements
- Work with a participating SSBCI lender to identify collateral shortfall
- Submit loan, business, financial, collateral, and use-of-funds documentation
- Meet lender underwriting and SSBCI collateral support requirements
