Skills for Small Business Grant
Funds employee training at public community or technical colleges for small businesses with fewer than 100 employees. Up to $2,000 per new employee and $1,000 per incumbent employee for tuition and fees in a 12-month period.
About this program
Funds go to the college, not directly to business. Apply at least two weeks before courses begin. Up to $2 million in total program funding annually.
Eligibility
Texas small businesses with fewer than 100 employees. Training must be provided by a public community or technical college and be for full-time employees paid prevailing wages.
