The Arkansas Specialty Crop Block Grant Program funds projects that enhance the competitiveness of fruits, vegetables, horticulture, floriculture, tree nuts, and other specialty crops in Arkansas.
Eligibility
Universities, institutions, cooperatives, producers, industry groups, community-based organizations, and other eligible applicants with projects benefiting the specialty crop industry rather than a single business only.
Requirements
- Apply through the Arkansas Department of Agriculture during open cycles
- Submit proposal, budget, measurable outcomes, specialty crop benefit, and project plan
- Meet USDA SCBGP, reporting, procurement, and eligible cost requirements
