About this program
The Missouri Brownfield Redevelopment Program supports cleanup and redevelopment of contaminated properties by providing tax credits and, where applicable, remediation assistance for eligible project costs.
Eligibility
Developers, businesses, or property owners redeveloping eligible contaminated Missouri properties, including sites in Nixa.
Requirements
- Apply before cleanup or redevelopment activities are completed
- Document contamination, eligible remediation costs, redevelopment plan, and financing need
- Receive DED and environmental approvals and comply with reporting rules
