SBA Boots to Business (B2B) – Maine (On-Installation & Reboot via VBOC of New England)

Free SBA entrepreneurship education for active-duty transitioning service members and their spouses in Maine; delivered via the VBOC of New England (operated by CWE) for on-installation TAP-connected sessions and off-installation Reboot sessions; confirmed active with November 5, 2025 Boots to Business Reboot at University of Maine Business School, Orono; curriculum covers business concept evaluation, business planning basics, and startup capital resources.

Eligibility

Active-duty service members in the TAP transition process, veterans of all eras, National Guard and Reserve members, and military-connected family members in Maine seeking to start or grow a small business.

Requirements

  • Active-duty service member, transitioning military, Guard/Reserve member, or military spouse in Maine
  • On-installation (Portsmouth Naval Shipyard / Bangor ANGB): register through the installation TAP or transition office
