About this program
Sacramento Tree Foundation partners with public agencies, utilities, nonprofits, schools, neighborhoods, and property owners to expand tree canopy through free or subsidized trees, planting support, and community greening projects.
Eligibility
Sacramento-area residents, businesses, schools, nonprofits, community groups, and property owners participating in eligible tree planting or urban forestry programs.
Requirements
- Apply or request trees through Sacramento Tree Foundation or partner program
- Confirm planting site, species, ownership permission, and maintenance commitment
- Participate in planting, stewardship, and reporting requirements as applicable
