Eligibility
Texas cities, counties, independent school districts, state agencies, public higher education institutions, tax-supported public hospital districts, and non-profit hospital facilities. Loans are repaid through energy cost savings.
Requirements
- Must be a Texas public institution: city, county, ISD, state agency, university, or public hospital district
- Funds must be used for energy-efficiency or renewable thermal energy retrofit projects
- Loan repayment is structured around energy cost savings realized from the retrofit
