About this program
Dearborn receives an annual HOME allocation through the Wayne County HOME Consortium to expand decent, safe, sanitary, and affordable housing for very-low-income and low-income households through eligible housing development, rehabilitation, homeownership, and assistance activities.
Eligibility
Eligible affordable housing developers, nonprofit housing organizations, CHDOs, public partners, and qualifying low-income households connected to approved HOME activities in Dearborn.
Requirements
- Apply or participate through the city or consortium housing process
- Meet HOME income, affordability, property, match, and eligible activity rules
- Submit project budget, underwriting, compliance, and reporting documentation
