The Vermont Employment Growth Incentive provides performance-based cash incentives to eligible companies that create new qualifying jobs, payroll, and capital investment in Vermont. Burlington companies with significant growth projects may apply before making final project commitments.
Eligibility
Businesses creating qualifying new jobs, payroll, and economic activity in Vermont that meet VEGI cost-benefit and approval requirements.
Requirements
- Apply through Vermont Economic Progress Council before project commitment
- Provide job creation, payroll, capital investment, project timeline, and financial information
- Meet performance, annual certification, reporting, and incentive claim requirements
