About this program
The Puerto Rico Department of Economic Development and Commerce administers the Economic Incentive Fund under the Puerto Rico Incentives Code to support eligible business projects based on economic impact, job creation, investment, and return on public investment.
Eligibility
Eligible companies and industries with Puerto Rico projects that meet DDEC incentive priorities and statutory requirements, including Ponce projects.
Requirements
- Coordinate with DDEC before project commitments
- Submit project, investment, jobs, budget, economic impact, and compliance information
- Execute incentive agreements or decrees and meet reporting requirements
