Eligibility
District residents with disabilities who are eligible for DC Rehabilitation Services Administration vocational rehabilitation services and whose Individualized Plan for Employment supports self-employment as an appropriate employment goal.
Requirements
- Apply for DC RSA vocational rehabilitation services.
- Work with a vocational rehabilitation counselor to determine eligibility and whether self-employment is an appropriate employment outcome.
- Develop and follow an approved self-employment plan and any required business planning steps.
