PGA REACH Places to Play Legacy Grant
Annual $250,000 capital grant supporting access-focused golf facility renovations in PGA Championship host markets.
About this program
The PGA of America REACH Foundation Legacy Grant is awarded each year in conjunction with the PGA Championship to support facility renovation and access projects that promote playing opportunities for underserved communities. The 2025 grant supported revitalization of Gillespie Golf Course in Greensboro, NC, the city's oldest municipal course with a history in the civil rights movement. The Foundation focuses on three pillars: Youth, Military, and Diversity & Inclusion.
Eligibility
Municipalities, 501(c)(3) nonprofits, and community golf facilities undertaking renovation projects that expand golf access.
Requirements
- Be located in or near the PGA Championship host market
- Demonstrate alignment with one or more PGA REACH pillars: Youth, Military, Diversity & Inclusion
- Submit capital project proposal
