EDA Economic Adjustment Assistance Program
EDA grants for rural communities and regions experiencing or facing sudden, severe economic dislocation, supporting revolving loan funds and infrastructure.
About this program
The Economic Development Administration's Economic Adjustment Assistance (EAA) program provides flexible grants to communities, regions, and tribes experiencing severe economic distress from plant closures, natural disasters, industry decline, or other economic dislocation. Funds support revolving loan funds (RLFs), infrastructure, business incubators, technical assistance, and strategic planning. EDA funding supports approximately 400 revolving loan fund programs across the U.S. that re-lend to rural and urban small businesses. Revolving loan fund grant awards range from $500,000 to $2 million.
