USDA Rural Energy for America Program provides grants and guaranteed loans to agricultural producers and rural small businesses for renewable energy systems and energy efficiency improvements in eligible Rhode Island areas.

Rhode Island agricultural producers and rural small businesses meeting USDA REAP eligibility, including Pawtucket-area projects when rural eligibility rules are met.
Requirements

- Submit energy audit or assessment, technical report, project budget, financials, and matching funds documentation
- Meet rural eligibility, environmental, procurement, and federal reporting requirements
