Eligibility
Eligible applicants are taxpayers, including Montana manufacturers, that produce eligible advanced manufacturing components or critical minerals and meet IRS requirements for claiming the credit.
Requirements
- Produce eligible components or critical minerals covered by Section 45X.
- Maintain production, sales, and tax documentation required to substantiate the credit.
- Claim the credit on applicable federal tax forms and filings.
