About this program
Helmets to Hardhats connects transitioning service members, National Guard members, reservists, veterans, and military-connected candidates with registered apprenticeship opportunities in union construction and infrastructure trades. Deadline notes: Registration is generally ongoing; openings depend on trade and location. Notes: Military-to-trades pathway available to New Jersey applicants through local construction apprenticeship programs.
Eligibility
Transitioning service members, National Guard members, reservists, veterans, and eligible military-connected applicants interested in construction and infrastructure trades.
Requirements
- Register online and provide military-connected status, preferred trade, location, work history, and any apprenticeship application materials requested by local programs.
