Social equity pathway reserving half of new DC medical cannabis business licenses, excluding testing labs, and reducing licensing fees for qualifying applicants.

Eligibility
Applicants with at least one DC resident owner who individually or collectively owns at least 50 percent of the business and meets at least two qualifying social equity criteria related to returning citizenship, cannabis or drug-related justice impact, or income.
Requirements
- Apply to qualify as a social equity applicant during an open application period.
- Submit a Social Equity Declaration Form, attestation statement, and documentation proving at least two qualifying criteria.
- Provide sufficient proof for ABCA to determine social equity status.
