About this program
The Rural Electric Economic Development Fund provides loans for projects that promote growth and job creation in rural electric cooperative service territories. Aberdeen-area projects may qualify through participating cooperative partners for business, community, and infrastructure financing.
Eligibility
Eligible businesses, nonprofits, and community development projects in participating rural electric cooperative service areas.
Requirements
- Coordinate with the local participating electric cooperative or REED Fund staff
- Provide project budget, borrower financials, community impact, collateral, and use-of-funds information
- Meet REED underwriting, repayment, and eligible project requirements
