PA ABLE helps Pennsylvanians with qualifying disabilities save and invest without losing means-tested benefits, including for employment and self-employment needs.

Eligibility
Eligible account owners are people with a qualifying disability whose disability began before age 26 or before age 46 if they qualify under the ABLE age expansion beginning in 2026, subject to PA ABLE program rules.
Requirements
- Have a qualifying disability under PA ABLE rules.
- Open a PA ABLE account or have an authorized individual open one on the account owner's behalf.
- Use account funds for qualified disability expenses, including expenses that support employment or self-employment where eligible.
