EDA's Public Works and Economic Adjustment Assistance programs fund economic development infrastructure, workforce facilities, business incubators, recovery strategies, and other projects that support private investment and job creation.
Eligibility
Eligible public agencies, nonprofits, higher education institutions, economic development districts, and other approved applicants with qualifying projects benefiting Athens or the regional economy.
Requirements
- Submit application through the applicable EDA notice of funding opportunity
- Provide project narrative, budget, match, economic distress, and job creation documentation
- Meet federal grant management, procurement, environmental, and reporting rules
