About this program
East Bay Municipal Utility District WaterSmart business rebates help commercial, industrial, and institutional customers in Oakland and the East Bay install water-saving equipment, fixtures, landscaping, and process improvements.
Eligibility
EBMUD commercial, industrial, institutional, multifamily, and irrigation customers with eligible water-saving projects in the service area.
Requirements
- Apply before purchasing or installing eligible equipment when required
- Provide water account, project scope, technical specifications, and projected water savings
- Complete installation and submit invoices, photos, and verification documentation
