Grants to community-based nonprofits and other eligible organizations in EPA Region 5 (Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio, Wisconsin, and 37 federally recognized tribal nations) for environmental and climate justice projects. Three tiers funding assessment, planning, and project development activities. Administered by The Minneapolis Foundation as Regional Grantmaker.

Rolling applications accepted from December 2024 until November 2026. Awards made every 3-4 months. Tier 1: up to $150,000; Tier 2: up to $250,000; Tier 3: up to $350,000.
Eligibility
Community-based nonprofit organizations, tribal governments and tribal nonprofits, environmental justice organizations, faith-based organizations, and other eligible entities serving disadvantaged communities in EPA Region 5.
