The Small Contractor Development Program helps local contractors build capacity to compete for public and private construction opportunities through training, technical assistance, certifications, bonding preparation, and procurement support.
Eligibility
New Haven-based small contractors, minority-owned contractors, and construction-related businesses seeking to grow capacity and compete for city or partner construction opportunities.
Requirements
- Complete program intake or application
- Provide business registration, trade or contractor information, ownership, insurance, licensing, and capacity needs
- Participate in technical assistance, training, and procurement readiness activities
