Eligibility
For-profit small businesses may apply when socially and economically disadvantaged owners control the firm; CDOT identifies Native Americans as a group presumed socially and economically disadvantaged under DBE rules.
Requirements
- Operate a for-profit small business seeking DBE certification
- Show qualifying Native American ownership and control
- Submit required certification documentation through the Colorado Unified Certification Program
