About this program
The Hartford Land Bank uses gap financing to help bridge the difference between redevelopment cost and affordable resale value, enabling vacant and distressed properties to become productive owner-occupied homes and neighborhood assets.
Eligibility
Approved developers, partners, and homeownership projects involving Hartford Land Bank properties and meeting affordability, redevelopment, and community benefit goals.
Requirements
- Work with Hartford Land Bank through its property disposition or development process
- Provide redevelopment budget, financing sources, sale price, contractor, and homeownership plan
- Comply with land bank agreement, affordability, construction, and transfer requirements
