Texas SCSEP, operated through the TWC and AARP Foundation partnership across 82 Texas counties, provides work-based training and skills development for unemployed Texans 55+ from low-income households as a pathway toward self-employment.

Texas residents age 55 or older who are unemployed and meet low-income criteria (approximately 125% of federal poverty level, ~$16,000/year for individual).
