The USVI SSBCI Payment, Surety and Performance Bond Program provides collateral security for performance bonds for small contractors undertaking public and private construction projects that require surety or performance bonding.
Eligibility
U.S. Virgin Islands small contractors and construction businesses needing eligible payment, surety, or performance bond support.
Requirements
- Work with a participating lender or bonding provider connected to USVI SSBCI
- Provide contractor qualifications, project documents, bonding need, financials, and owner information
- Meet underwriting, bonding, eligible-use, and SSBCI program requirements
