Eligibility
Eligible recipients and subrecipients include private nonprofits, federally recognized tribes, approved government authorities, and private taxi shared-ride operators whose projects serve the transportation needs of older adults and people with disabilities.
Requirements
- Propose an eligible traditional or nontraditional transportation project serving seniors or people with disabilities.
- Ensure the project is included in a locally developed coordinated public transit-human services transportation plan.
- Provide the required local match for the project type unless the activity is eligible for 100 percent federal program administration funding.
