OMWBE State Certification Linked Deposit Program
A state program that allows OMWBE-certified Minority and Women's Business Enterprises to access reduced-rate loans through participating banks, where Washington state deposits funds with the bank to subsidize the borrower's interest rate. Effective interest rate reduction up to 2% off market.
About this program
Certification itself is free. Once certified, businesses can also bid on state contracts with goal-based preferences. New LGBTQBE certification launched in 2025; PWSBE for public works small businesses also available.
Eligibility
Washington for-profit small businesses certified by OMWBE as MBE, WBE, MWBE, or CBE. Veteran-owned businesses certified by WA Department of Veterans Affairs are eligible for the parallel Veteran Linked Deposit Program.
