The SBA 8(a) Business Development Program helps eligible socially and economically disadvantaged small businesses compete for federal contracts through business development assistance, contracting support, and access to set-aside and sole-source opportunities. Eligibility
Eligible small businesses owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, subject to SBA ownership, control, size, character, and potential-for-success rules.
Requirements
- Apply for SBA certification and provide ownership, control, financial, tax, business history, disadvantaged status, and supporting documentation required by SBA.
