About this program
Visit Bend’s Sustainability Fund invests lodging tax resources into projects that make Bend a more sustainable destination. Funded projects can include stewardship, accessibility, conservation, transportation, visitor management, and community benefit work connected to tourism impacts.
Eligibility
Organizations, public agencies, nonprofits, and project partners with eligible sustainability projects that benefit Bend as a destination and community.
Requirements
- Apply during an open Sustainability Fund cycle
- Describe sustainability outcomes, visitor and resident benefit, project readiness, partners, budget, and timeline
- Comply with funding agreement, reporting, and public benefit requirements
