Eligibility
Eligible South Dakota vocational rehabilitation or Service to the Blind and Visually Impaired clients may pursue self-employment when it is an appropriate employment outcome supported by assessment, planning, counselor approval, and a viable business plan.
Requirements
- Be eligible for South Dakota vocational rehabilitation or blind rehabilitation services.
- Work with a counselor to determine that self-employment is an appropriate employment outcome.
- Develop a business plan, feasibility information, and financial projections as requested.
